A Winter Fanfare from the BSO Brass Ensemble

Dorset’s rural arts charity Artsreach is thrilled to partner with the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra once more this winter, presenting a special Winter Fanfare in two communities as part of the festive season.

Presented and performed by the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra’s Brass Ensemble, Winter Fanfare is a programme travelling the world and the ages, featuring sublime 16th century melodies from Monteverdi and the much-loved Coventry Carol, through to contemporary favourites from films including The Snowman and Frozen.

Settle in the season with this warming programme of festive tunes and midwinter warmers from the ancient to the contemporary, as the BSO Brass Ensemble perform live in Blandford Parish Church (07729 786600) on Tuesday 16 December, and St Christopher’s Church, Winfrith (01305 853783) on Wednesday 17 December.

Presented in partnership with Artsreach, tickets and full details are available online at www.artsreach.co.uk

There are also a limited number of tickets still available for Serenades and Starbursts, a programme of repertoire especially for families performed by 19 string musicians at The Exchange in Sturminster Newton (01258 475137) on Thursday 20 November.
