Savour the flavour: Taste of Test Valley returns

On Sunday, 28 September, Andover High Street will once again transform into a vibrant celebration of food, drink, and community as Taste of Test Valley returns for its second year. Building on the success of last year’s inaugural event, this free, family-friendly festival, run by Test Valley Borough Council, brings together the best of Test Valley’s independent producers – from artisan bakers and small-batch brewers, to sizzling street food vendors and craft drink makers.

But Taste of Test Valley is more than just good food and drink, it’s a feast for the senses! With live music from local performers and plenty of activities and entertainment for the children, it’s the perfect day out for the whole family. The event gives residents and visitors alike the chance to discover the passionate producers and independent makers right on their doorstep, enabling people to choose local, shop small, and support their community.

Many of the traders featured at the event also appear at Andover’s monthly Second Sundays market, a curated street market bringing together seasonal food and drink producers, designer-makers and artists, alongside street food, craft drinks, workshops and music. Together, these events provide regular opportunities to shop small, eat well, and connect with the people behind the produce – reminding us of the richness and variety of what’s available locally. So, whether you’re sampling a locally roasted coffee, picking up handmade chutneys, or chatting with a cheesemaker, every purchase helps build a more vibrant, resilient local economy.

Mark your calendars and join us in celebrating the flavours of the region. Come hungry, leave inspired, and take a little piece of Test Valley home with you.
