Residents and staff at Yarnley House Care Home in Ringwood came together to celebrate a major milestone after achieving a perfect score of 10 on carehome.co.uk, one of the UK’s leading care home review platforms.
The perfect score reflects the exceptional feedback and glowing reviews shared by residents’ families, recognising the dedication, compassion and quality of care delivered by the Yarnley House team.
To mark the achievement, the home hosted a celebratory afternoon tea party, bringing together residents and staff for an afternoon of celebration. Organised with support from the activities team and kitchen staff, the event provided an opportunity for everyone to come together and recognise the achievement.
Jean Vinters, age 89, Resident of Yarnley House since November 2024, who joined in the celebrations, said: “Everyone at Yarnley House works their socks off to provide the best possible care and lifestyle for us. They deserve a “10”. They are all very pleasant, work hard and are good fun. It’s nice to see them celebrating something together that is so well deserved.
The celebration recognised not only the outstanding reviews received, but also the collective effort of every member of the Yarnley House team who contributes daily to creating a warm, caring and supportive environment for residents.
Among the many reviews contributing to the perfect score, families praised the home’s compassion, professionalism and welcoming atmosphere. One family member shared: “As a family, we cannot speak highly enough about the care, compassion and professionalism our beloved father received at Yarnley House. During an extremely distressing time, seeing Dad so well looked after and genuinely cared for by some of the friendliest staff we’ve ever encountered brought us enormous comfort.”
Another family review highlighted the positive impact the home has had on residents’ wellbeing: “My mum now truly regards Yarnley House as her home. We have not seen her so happy since her husband passed away. The facilities are first class, and the staff are both professional and friendly – nothing is too much trouble.”
