Bournemouth and Poole College has reported strong academic outcomes for their Level 3, A Level equivalent, provision, including strong university progression figures and exceeding national averages in key qualifications. These achievements reflect the institution’s continued commitment to academic excellence, strategic investment in facilities, and a supportive environment that enables students to realise their full potential.
This year, the college celebrated its first set of final year T Level results, achieving an impressive 96% pass rate that is 5% higher than the national average. This success has been boosted by significant investment in state-of-the-art T Level facilities in Childcare and Digital, enabling students to gain valuable, hands-on experience using industry-standard equipment.
Progression to Higher Education has also been remarkably strong. 99.6% of applicants secured a place at their chosen university, with many progressing to prestigious Russell Group institutions, and 6% being the first in their family to attend university.
Students from Bournemouth and Poole College will now progress to some of the UK’s most highly regarded universities, including University College London, University of Exeter, University of Southampton, and University of Bristol.
