Bourne Valley Pick Your Own (PYO) is thrilled to announce the opening of its 2025 season, offering fresh, handpicked produce and family-friendly fun. The farm is now open every day from 10am to 2pm, and there’s something for everyone to enjoy, from delicious strawberries ready for picking to the newly installed play equipment that’s sure to keep little ones entertained.
This season’s highlights include the farm’s strawberry patch, which is currently brimming with ripe, juicy strawberries for visitors to pick. The raspberry bushes will soon be ready for picking in July, and the pumpkin patch has been planted and is already flourishing. Visitors can look forward to the sight of vibrant sunflowers that were planted last week, adding even more beauty to the farm.
The PYO team has been working diligently behind the scenes to ensure the farm remains in top condition. From managing fruit deliveries to maintaining the grounds, their hard work is evident across the farm.
Dan Culley, owner of Bourne Valley PYO, said, “We are so excited to welcome everyone back this season. There’s something truly special about being able to pick your own fresh fruit, and we’re proud to continue this tradition for our community.”
In addition to the bountiful harvest, the farm is preparing for its annual food safety inspection, aiming to maintain its five-star rating for its café. The café has undergone some exciting changes this year, including a new coffee blend and a refreshing Green Super Smoothie that combines mango, banana, kale, and lemongrass. Visitors can also enjoy their usual selection of iced lattes, iced teas, and freshly made sandwiches from nearby Yum Yum.
For those looking to keep their little ones entertained while they pick fruit, the new play equipment provides a fun and safe space for children to explore. The farm’s play park is open every day, ensuring families can enjoy a full day of outdoor fun. Visitors can also relax and unwind while enjoying the beautiful surroundings of the farm and a delicious drink or snack from the café.
