“The Fairy Bridge of Glen Creran” by Stuart Bennett was awarded the trophy in the Viewfinders of Romsey Camera Club’s Print of the Year competition. The judge, Amanda Miller, said it was a lovely image that kept the character of the area very well, and she loved the colours and textures. It was a very successful competition for Stuart, who also took third place with “Solitude” and Seals of Merit for two other images. Second place was awarded to “Oak in the Morning Mist” by Terry Jamieson, who also had Seals of Merit for two other photographs. Another Seal was awarded to Roy Lambeth DPAGB, EFIAP.
At the end of the evening, Roy was also presented with the club’s Print Photographer of the Year trophy, awarded to the highest scoring photographer for printed images submitted throughout the club year.
Some of these images may well be included in the club’s annual exhibition, which will run from 12th to 20th July in Romsey Abbey.
