Swanage, Dorset – April 26, 2025 – Tied, the independent florist based on Swanage’s historic High Street, has been named Best Florist in Dorset, Somerset & Bristol at the 2025 Muddy Stilettos Awards. The announcement comes just over a year after the shop opened its doors on February 13, 2024.
Now in its 12th year, the Muddy Stilettos Awards celebrates the very best independent lifestyle businesses across 35 counties in the UK. With more than 11 million readers nationwide and over half a million votes cast this year, the award is a true reflection of quality and local support. Tied’s journey to the win began with a public nomination round, followed by a competitive shortlist of five regional finalists. Thanks to an outpouring of support from the local community, Tied was voted the top florist in the region.
Selina Kerley, founder and owner of Tied, said: Being recognised as the best florist in the region is such an honour. The support from the Swanage community has been incredible, and I’m so grateful to my amazing team and every customer and supporter of Tied.”
A Swanage local, Selina is an experienced florist known for her thoughtful, seasonal designs and signature style. She was also named one of the 100 Faces of Floristry during the first National Florist Day in June 2024.
This award highlights Selina’s creativity and hard work, and also brings attention to the strength of Swanage’s independent business community.
