‘Minimalism’ was the theme for this year’s Viewfinders of Romsey Camera Club’s Les Frederick Trophy competition for projected images. Fifty-seven images were entered, giving the judge, Keven Sandall, a busy evening.
Julie Cousens was awarded the trophy for her image ‘Tide Rolling In’. The judge liked the feeling of movement, the gradation, and colours. Second place went to Gerald Ponting for ‘Cormorant’; third place was Harry Borgerson for ‘Grass in Snow’. Harry also received a Seal of Merit, as did Jacqueline Ridout, Louise Sampson, Tim George, and Terry Jamieson RoH CPAGB BPE2*.
