After 20+ years it’s time to say goodbye to the people and visitors of Romsey & the Test Valley, the Visitor Centre in Church Street will be closing on Saturday 29 March.
We thank you for your support and custom and have been touched by all your messages. The Centre will continue to sell tickets for the March ghost walk, Romsey Plaza Theatre events and Music in Romsey throughout March and wish to reassure you that all bookings made for events scheduled after our closure are confirmed and valid.
We are pleased to announce that Oasis Christian Centre at 25 Church Street Romsey will be taking over the ticket sales for the following: Romsey Festival, Romsey Abbey, Romsey Singers and Music in Romsey. You will be able to book in person or over the telephone 01794 512194. Here in the Visitor Centre we are reducing our stock of books, cards and gifts so come in and see us next time you’re in Romsey.
The Test Valley is a beautiful and vibrant area with many wonderful attractions: houses, gardens, theme parks, and museums galore. One of the unique elements of the Test Valley and especially Romsey is the wide range of events that are organised by local volunteers and independent groups who we have been proud to support and help promote from tea dances, local society talks, chamber music festivals, Beggars Fair, Romsey Festival to mention just a few; we thank you for helping to make the Test Valley such an inclusive and welcoming place to live and to visit.
