If something more active is more up your street, you could take part in the Andover Trail Marathon! Taking place on the 7th of September at 8am, the popular marathon is back for its 7th year. This race is ideal for experienced runners seeking a personal best time, as well as those wanting a challenge with generous cutoffs. The relaxed, family-friendly setting guarantees an amazing running experience. There will also be finisher medals for all that compete as well as medals for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place male and females.
Call yourself a foodie? Then why not check out Andover’s newest street festival honouring regional producers of food and beverages as well as street food vendors? The Taste of Test Valley event will be held on the 29th of September from 10am to 4pm on the High Street. Don’t miss out on a day filled with delicious food and fun socialising!

Fancy watching some car racing? The TCR UK Touring Car Championship will take place on the 21st and 22nd of September at the Thruxton Race Circuit from 9am to 6pm. Since its introduction to the UK in 2018, the competition has gained appeal, drawing elite teams, skilled drivers, and sizable crowds of spectators. The food stalls at Thruxton provide a wonderful array of options to keep you fed throughout the day, whether you’re searching for a quick snack or a filling meal. Enjoy an evening indulging in a delicious three-course dinner alongside bidding on fantastic items up for auction. This event intends to raise much-needed money to upgrade their dispersed housing and to keep up their efforts to assist victims of domestic and sexual abuse by offering them assistance, counselling, and shelter. Help make their charity dinner and auction an enormous success by lending your support.
