Get ready, Swanage! The Swanage Jazz Festival is back from July 12th to 14th, 2024, bringing our coastal town to life with the sounds of jazz. This annual event is a highlight for locals and visitors, offering three days of fantastic music and community spirit.
This year’s lineup features a mix of big names and fresh talent, ensuring there’s something for everyone. It welcomes the Emma Rawicz Jazz Orchestra, Ian Shaw and Tony Kofi performing a tribute to Billy Strayhorn; Zoe Rahman’s Colour of Sound Octet; Gary Crosby’s Mingus Moves Band; The Wonder of Stevie with Derek Nash and Noel McCalla and The Printmakers with Nikki Iles and Norma Winstone, plus many more artists.
Venues include the Mowlem Theatre and Sandpit field, with local residents able to receive a 10% discount off tickets. Beyond the concerts, the festival offers workshops and masterclasses with some of the artists, perfect for local musicians looking to improve their skills.

This year sees the return of the Marquees to the Swanage Jazz Festival since before Covid, as well as performances in the Mowlem and The Centre. The main venues are ticket-only admission.
