Our Scout Group is growing, and we’re excited to welcome new adults who want to make a real difference. Whether you’re great with kids, brilliant at organising, or simply keen to give something back, there’s a place for you in our team.
Beaver & Cub Section Volunteers
Do you enjoy fun, creativity, and helping young people discover the world around them?
Our Beaver (6–8 years) and Cub (8–10½ years) sections are looking for enthusiastic adults to join the team.
You don’t need prior Scouting experience — just a sense of adventure and a willingness to get stuck in. Full training and support are provided.
Cubs run during term-time on a Monday 6.30pm to 8pm, Beavers on Tuesday 5.30pm to 7pm
You’ll help with:
- Planning activities and games
- Supporting young people as they learn new skills
- Having fun and being part of a friendly team
- Trustee Board Volunteers
If you prefer to support behind the scenes, we also have opportunities on our Trustee Board, which helps ensure the Group runs safely, legally, and sustainably.
We are currently seeking:
- Group Chair – providing leadership and direction to the Trustee Board
- Group Secretary – keeping our administration running smoothly
These roles are perfect for someone organised, community-minded, and happy to contribute a few hours a month.
