Make new friends, enjoy new experiences and volunteer aboard Southampton’s historic steamship!
Are you retired, approaching retirement or simply looking for something enjoyable and rewarding to do with your spare time? Steamship Shieldhall, Europe’s largest operational steamship, is looking for friendly and enthusiastic people to join our Customer Experience volunteer team.
From welcoming passengers and helping at special events to cooking and preparing food in our galley, serving refreshments and looking after guests during our cruises, there’s plenty to get involved with. Volunteering aboard Shieldhall is about much more than helping out. It’s about meeting new people, making lasting friendships, working together and enjoying the satisfaction of giving our passengers a wonderful day out.
We’re proud recipients of The King’s Award for Voluntary Service, recognising the dedication of our fantastic volunteers.
