Kings Park Care Home in Ferndown was delighted to welcome Dorset’s High Sheriff, Dr Helena Conibear DL, and fellow walkers as they completed the Christchurch to Ferndown stage of her County Line Walk. As part of her 216-mile challenge around the Dorset boundary, Helena is raising awareness of county lines and child exploitation, while supporting young people across the county.
94-year-old Eric Cole, Kings Park’s Resident Ambassador, was proud to join the walkers for the final leg into Ferndown. “I enjoyed walking the last bit with them; I’m still quite active,” said Eric.
The Kings Park team were delighted to support such an important community initiative and welcome the walkers as they completed the stage.
