Final Call for Test Valley Business Awards Entries

Businesses and members of the public have one final week to submit their entries and nominations for the Test Valley Business Awards 2026.

Nominations close next Sunday, 2 August, leaving just days to recognise the businesses, entrepreneurs and young professionals making a difference across Andover, Romsey and the surrounding villages. The awards are open to organisations of all sizes and at every stage of their development.

Businesses can put themselves forward, while customers, employees, suppliers and members of the public can nominate a deserving organisation or individual.

Katie Brooks, Chairman of the Test Valley Business Awards, said: “We have already received some fantastic nominations from across Test Valley, reflecting the strength, variety and ambition of our local business community. However, we know there are many more businesses and individuals whose achievements deserve to be recognised. This is the final opportunity to tell us their stories, whether they have built a successful new enterprise, supported their community, introduced innovative technology, improved their sustainability or inspired others through their leadership. We are incredibly grateful to our Gold Sponsors, Barratt David Wilson Homes Southampton,nCobra Hydro UK, University of Southampton Science Park, Parker Bullen LLP, Test Valley Borough Council and Stannah. Their support makes it possible for us to recognise and celebrate the businesses and people contributing so much to Test Valley’s economy and communities.”

The 2026 award categories include:

  • Business in the Community Award
  • Business Innovation and Technology Award
  • Corporate Business Award
  • New Business Award
  • Rural Business Award
  • Small Business Award
  • Sustainability Award
  • Young Business Person Award

Entering is free, and businesses do not need to wait for somebody else to nominate them.

Katie added:

“Please don’t assume your business is too small, too new or that what you have achieved is not significant enough. The awards are designed to recognise businesses at different stages of their journey. Sometimes the achievements that feel like part of everyday business life are exactly the stories that deserve to be shared and celebrated. If you have been considering entering or nominating somebody else, now is the time. We would hate for a deserving business or individual to miss out.”

Finalists will progress to the next stage of the awards ahead of the Test Valley Business Awards Gala Awards Dinner on Saturday 17 October 2026, when this year’s winners will be announced.

Nominations close on Sunday 2 August 2026.
