With just under two weeks remaining before nominations close, organisers of the Test Valley Business Awards 2026 are encouraging businesses across the borough to explore the wide range of award categories available and submit their entries.
The awards, which have been celebrating local business success since 2004, recognise organisations of all sizes from across Andover, Romsey and the surrounding villages.
From innovation and sustainability to customer service, community impact and business growth, the awards aim to showcase the breadth of talent and achievement across Test Valley’s business community.
Katie Brooks, Chairman of the Test Valley Business Awards, said: “Many businesses assume there isn’t a category that fits what they do, but every year we’re amazed by the variety of organisations that enter and the different ways they demonstrate success. “Whether you’re a start-up, an established employer, a family business, a rural enterprise or a technology-led organisation, there is likely to be a category that reflects your achievements.”
Categories for the 2026 awards include:
- Business Innovation and Technology Award
- Sustainability Award
- Rural Business of the Year
- Customer Service Award
- New Business of the Year
- Employer of the Year
- Community Contribution Award
- Business Growth Award
and several other categories recognising excellence across the Test Valley business community.
Businesses can enter themselves, while members of the public can also nominate businesses they believe deserve recognition.
Katie added:
“We would encourage businesses not to wait until the final few days before entering. Taking a little time now to review the categories could be the first step towards gaining valuable recognition for your business and your team.”
Nominations close on Sunday 19 July 2026.
