“Harvest Mouse on Poppy Seed Heads” by Margaret Cooper was awarded the trophy in the Viewfinders of Romsey Camera Club’s Print of the Year competition. The judge, Paul Hendley, said he loved the subtle colours. It was a successful competition for Margaret, who also took third place with “Juvenile Lesser Kestrel”. Second place was awarded to “Flautist” by Stephen Cooper, who received a Seal of Merit for another of his images. Stuart Bennet received Seals of Merit for two of his images, and further Seals were awarded to images by Lizzie Dutfield and Roy Lambeth.
Some of these images may well be included in the club’s annual exhibition, which will be held from 4th to 18th July in Romsey Abbey as part of Romsey Festival 2026.
