Wimborne and Ferndown Lions Club is inviting local residents to enjoy a fun evening of team trivia as the club’s Spring Quiz returns, raising funds for Julia’s House, Dorset and Wiltshire’s children’s hospice charity.
Taking place at 7:30pm on Thursday 30th April at The Barrington Centre, Ferndown, it promises a relaxed, friendly night out for teams, friends and neighbours looking to support a very worthy local cause.
Tickets are £10 per person, which includes a Ploughman’s Platter. Teams can include up to six players and the bar will be open throughout the evening. There will also be card bingo and a raffle on the night, giving attendees a few extra chances to win prizes and help raise more for Julia’s House.
Julia’s House provides specialist hospice care for children with life-limiting or life-threatening conditions, as well as vital support for their families across Dorset and Wiltshire.
President of Wimborne and Ferndown Lions Club, Peter Burnett, said: “This quiz is all about bringing people together and raising money for an amazing cause. Every ticket, raffle entry and game on the night helps Julia’s House continue supporting children and families in the most difficult times.”
