European travel specialist Tollwayr analysed Christmas markets across the UK, examining opening duration, three-star hotel costs, Google searches, and Instagram and TikTok engagement to determine the best festive destinations for 2025.
Key findings:
Winchester Christmas Market has claimed 6th place in the UK’s top Christmas markets, with a score of 2.52/10, running for 32 days with accommodation at £73 per night.
Winchester attracts an impressive 20,000 annual Google searches alongside 10,900 Instagram posts and 287 TikTok posts, demonstrating strong visitor interest despite its shorter season.
