Versatile Musical Talent

Great entertainment is assured when PETE SHAW, from Winsford in Cheshire, performs for MUSIC at HeART at the White Hart Hotel in Andover on Thursday 16 October.

With encouragement from a musical family, Pete began playing piano at a very young age and is now well respected in the electronic keyboard business with which he has been associated for many years. He began playing semi-professionally in working men’s clubs at the age of fifteen, backing cabaret artistes with a seven-keyboard set-up!

One of the most versatile players around, Pete had his all-round musical talents put to great use several years ago when he worked as Musical Director for Granada Television’s ‘Tour of Talent’ roadshow, following which he received an invitation to play for a choir at the National Eisteddfod of Wales in Bala.

As well as his solo performances, Pete worked with his wife for over twenty years as a very successful dinner dance and cabaret duo at venues nationwide and won three ‘Best Duo’ awards. They were once invited by comedian Peter Kay to assist on his ‘Children in Need’ video, which Pete directed.

More information about Pete can be found at www.saremma.co.uk, whilst Club details can be obtained by phoning (01264) 323213 or by visiting www.weyhill-eos.co.uk

The concert commences at 7.30 p.m. (doors open at 7.00 p.m.) and tickets priced at £10 (including interval refreshments) are available at the door.
