New Forest Painters Exhibition 2025

As we enter autumn, it’s time once again to celebrate the work of ‘The New Forest Painters’ who, over the past year, have been working hard towards this, their 27th exhibition. Now established as one of the South’s most prestigious art groups, there will, as per usual, be a fantastic variety of artworks available for the public to enjoy. All tastes are catered for as a wide variety of both subject and styles will be on show. From the exquisite pastel work of Sue Kerrigan Harris to the magical fantasy paintings and sculpture of Courtney Leggett. Long established exhibitors such as Richard and Hilary Tratt, Janet and Alan Langford, Barry Miles, and Peter Frost need no introduction and will be exhibiting their more traditional New Forest scenes in their unique styles, while Jennifer Pitt will be showing her wildlife paintings of the New Forest during the four seasons. The Forest is a world famous National Park with a fantastic array of wildlife and landscapes that range from the open heaths to the north, ancient woodlands, historic villages, and a southern coastline that looks out towards The Needles and the Isle of Wight. We are all professional artists who have been refining our craft for many years and are dedicated to producing works of the very highest quality and we all hope that there will be something that will grace your wall space and provide you with a permanent reminder of this areas outstanding natural beauty.

Apart from original artwork, there will be a wide range of prints and greeting cards available on the weekend. The exhibition is free to visit and is on Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th October and open between 10am and 5pm at the Lyndhurst Community Centre.

Everyone is invited to come along, from those just wanting to observe superb art to the more serious buyers who wish to add to their existing collections.
