With over 20 top 10 hits, the show will feature 2 hours of non-stop classics including Gold, Rio, True, Save A Prayer and Girls on Film performed by a full live 8-piece band.
From Gold to Rio will take you on a nostalgic journey back to the New Romantic era, which ruled the charts for over a decade. So, if you’re a Duranie, a Spandy, a Wild Boy or a Soul Boy, then this is something you don’t want to miss.
The live band has more than 30 years’ professional experience, featuring Lee James, who is widely recognised as the most authentic performer to Tony Hadley, playing across the UK and Europe for over 15 years. Artsreach presents: African Drumming Workshop
As part of the 2025 Artsreach summer programme of creative activities for children, we are thrilled to welcome Senegalese master drummer Cheikh Diop to The Mowlem for an interactive drumming workshop, featuring djembe drums and dun-duns.
Fun for all the family, this drum circle will undoubtedly create an exciting atmosphere full of high energy and great rhythms! This vibrant session is for parents and guardians and children aged 5+ to enjoy together – no previous drumming experience is required.
Children must be accompanied by a parent/guardian. Two 1-hour workshops, Wednesday 13th August 12 pm and 2 pm
