The countdown is on! With just two months to go, excitement is building for the return of the much-loved New Forest and Hampshire County Show, taking place July 29–31, 2025, at the New Park, Brockenhurst. Known for its unique mix of countryside appeal, thrilling entertainment, and family fun, this year’s event promises to be one of the best yet.

Highlights of the 2025 New Forest Show include:

  • Main Ring Attractions: Prepare to be amazed by the breathtaking stunts and expert horsemanship of the world-renowned Atkinson Action Horses – stars of film and television, and masters of live performance! Taking centre stage in the East Ring, Ben Atkinson and his team of talented riders and horses are set to deliver one of the show’s most highly anticipated and crowd-pleasing displays.

This thrilling act leads an exciting lineup of Main Ring entertainment, including the fast-paced Pony Club Games and the Grand Parade of award-winning livestock. Don’t miss the Heavy Horse Musical Drive, where gentle giants deliver a stunning display of equine excellence, perfectly timed to music.

  • Local Food & Drink Showcase: Taste your way through the Local Produce Area, where award-winning New Forest and Hampshire food, drink, and artisan goods will take centre stage. Plus, enjoy live cooking demonstrations from local chefs, showcasing their skills and delicious recipes throughout the event.

  • Family Fun: Enjoy the perfect day out for families with a fantastic mix of children’s entertainment – from Bonkers Bingo and a kids’ Silent Disco to rock climbing and fly fishing. There are plenty of opportunities to learn and explore, with hands-on arts and crafts, cookery sessions, and interactive exhibits across the showground that make learning about countryside life and rural skills fun for all ages.

  • Traditional Countryside Life: Explore the stunning flower and vegetable shows, step back in time to explore the evolution of farming, meet the New Forest Commoners, and watch the skilled Adams Axemen and Blacksmiths.

  • Equestrian Excellence: As one of the UK’s most prestigious equine events, featuring over 2,000 horses and riders. Watch thrilling showjumping, heavy horse displays, and competitive classes showcasing some of the best riders and horses in the country.

  • Shopping: From rural crafts and garden accessories to fashion and homewares, over 500 trade stands offer something for every taste.

New for 2025 – Music and Chat Stage

Visitors will have the opportunity to enjoy talks from a variety of experts covering topics such as health and wellbeing in farming and gardening.

We are pleased to announce that horticulturalist, author, and television presenter David Domoney will take to the chat stage to discuss amazing plants with superpowers. Joining him will be gardener and television presenter Charlie Dimmock. These special guest appearances are supported by Brighterway, the charity for the NHS Hampshire and Isle of Wight Foundation Trust. Additional speakers will be announced over the coming weeks.
