Early detection saves lives! The Wimborne and Ferndown Lions Club is hosting a free prostate cancer testing event on Saturday, 15th March 2025, at Wimborne Masonic Hall, Corn Market, Wimborne BH21 1JL.

Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in men, with more than 47,500 diagnoses each year in the UK—that’s approximately 129 men every day. As the disease often develops without symptoms, early detection is crucial. A simple PSA blood test can help identify risks early, significantly increasing the chances of successful treatment.

Men aged 50 and over, or those 45 and over with a family history of prostate cancer, are encouraged to attend.
