Soaring to New Heights: Wallop Wheels and Wings 2025

Following four fabulous sell-out years, the Army Flying Museum at Middle Wallop is set to launch its flagship fundraising event bright and early for 2025, with tickets going on sale from 1st November. The event will take place on 12th July 2025, and with prices fixed until 31st January, early bookers have the chance to make great savings and secure their spot for another fun-filled day out.

Set to be bigger and better than ever, the 2025 event promises a huge array of classic and supercars/bikes to entertain motor enthusiasts, as well as a stunning Concours D’ Elegance showcasing some of the finest cars at the event. If the weather permits, visitors can relax in deckchairs and watch an exciting mix of fixed-wing and rotary aircraft taking to the skies, with the chance to chat to the pilots flying into the event.

The event will feature a delightful mix of food, drinks, and gifts in the trader village, offering plenty for non-enthusiasts to browse throughout the day. A diverse selection of food will be available in the catering village, including Mexican and Chinese food, gourmet pizzas, and burgers to keep hunger at bay.

Families will enjoy a packed day with activities to entertain little ones, such as electric go-karts, replica pedal planes, inflatables, craft activities, mini tanks, and circus skills. With something for everyone, there will never be a dull moment!

The Discovery Den will again be filled with exciting hands-on STEM activities from top companies such as Boeing, Rolls-Royce Ltd, and GKN Aerospace, providing opportunities for young minds to engage with technology and engineering.

Other attractions include live music, a charity village, a living history zone, and, new for 2025, a speaker’s tent featuring a variety of authors. All full-price tickets bought in advance include a free annual pass to the Museum, valid from 13th July, though visitors can purchase an additional ticket for the Museum should they wish to explore on the day of the event.

The Museum is excited to announce that Henry Cole, presenter of World’s Greatest Motorcycle Rides, The Motorbike Show, and Find It, Fix It, Flog It, will be attending the event, accompanied by fellow presenter Allen Millyard.

Henry said: “It was fantastic to meet so many people at Wheels and Wings this year, and I’m sure it will be another amazing day full of all my favourite things: bikes, classic cars, and aircraft of all kinds. A day not to be missed! Save the date!!”

Lucy Johnson, Chief Executive of the Army Flying Museum, said: “After the success of this year’s event and the fantastic feedback we received, we are excited to be launching our 2025 Wheels and Wings fundraiser. The team here at the Museum are already working hard to make sure it’s going to be a great day out for families and enthusiasts alike. We have a few surprises lined up for the day and a wide range of entertainment for all ages. We look forward to sharing more information over the coming months.”
