Defy Gravity and Have Fun!
Owner Francesca Drake from Sturminster Newton (37) says, “Contrary to popular belief, aerial circus is for everyone. You don’t need to be flexible, strong, or fit. We meet you where you are and help you build from there. The beauty of aerial is that you quickly become stronger and fitter without feeling like you’re working out. It’s more like having fun and laughing with friends.”
Phoenix Aerial was founded three years ago by Francesca, a circus enthusiast who fell in love with aerial arts eight years ago. She believes circus changed her life and wanted to share that joy with others. Since opening her own school, she’s helped to train two instructors, welcomed over 60 students, and is now ready for even bigger things. The studio is equipped with safety professional rigging, has full insurance, and all instructors are fully qualified.
Join the Fun at Phoenix Aerial
Francesca is opening her new studio at The Grainstore in Blandford Forum to everyone in Dorset. The studio will offer aerial hoop, trapeze, and silks lessons for both adults and children, as well as floor-based exercises like flex and stretch.

Join Francesca and the Phoenix team for their open day on November 2, 2024, from 10 AM to 1 PM. Watch instructors and students perform, ask questions, sign up for lessons, and maybe even try your hand at aerial acrobatics!
