At the Freedom Centre, we have several projects that we run: Romsey Foodbank, CAP Debt Help, Community Coaching, Transforming Lives for Good, Citizens Advice Drop-In, Job Centre and Employment Hub, Community Lunch and Board Games and a free Baby and Toddler Group.
Our heart is for serving our local community as best we can. Having all these services under one roof means a person only needs to come to one place, see multiple services in one visit and make good first steps in resolving the issues they’re facing.

This quote is from an individual who had a benefit check with our CA Caseworker and who received a food parcel on the same day on their first visit to the Centre.
When people first walk into our doors, we can see them heavy and burdened with issues that feel too overwhelming to deal with. However, after a hot drink, conversations with professionals to discuss manageable ways to help guide them out of their situation, and food items to fill up the cupboards, you can really see the weight lifted from their shoulders.
We have an amazing team of staff and volunteers who give their all to serve our visitors and who really do all they can to find as much support for them as appropriate.
