The John Thornton Young Achievers Foundation is looking forward to their charity trout fly fishing event at Holbury Lakes near Romsey, on Saturday 22nd June. Huge thanks to Paul for organising his 5th event at this idyllic location. It is an exclusive day for the JTYAF too, which makes it pretty special.
Ticket price is £80 for 4 fish which includes a donation to the charity. Tea and coffee will be served during the day and BBQ hot dogs are included.
This event is open to all. There will be experienced anglers on hand who can give tuition on casting, fly fishing techniques and an understanding of the sport.
There will be a prize for the biggest fish and heaviest bag of fish.
This event is a very enjoyable and social occasion, and the beautiful lakes provide the opportunity to catch some of the hard fighting blue, rainbow and brown trout that the fishery is well known for.
Fishing starts at 9.00 am and a Non migratory trout and coarse licence is required.
