Brockenhurst Football Club is pleased to confirm that BrockStock, the Family Friendly Music, Beer and Cider Festival is returning this year at the Meadens Skoda Arena, Grigg Lane, Brockenhurst, on the last weekend of May – Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th May from noon till dusk.
The festival will feature lots of live music with 11 bands lined up during the weekend to provide a great selection of music to suit all tastes including Session 45, Leverstock, Empty Frets, Up To No Good, The Vernon Principle, Absolute Block, Taya Minchington, Phil Holbird, Sunstroke, Sirpico and The Henrys.
We are incredibly grateful to our main sponsor Gigseekr, who are sponsoring the main stage and the PA system.. Gigseekr is a live music discovery service created by a team of specialists. Working alongside a custom-made AI system, Gigseekr analyses event data from across the world. Through their website and mobile app (available to download from Google Play and the Apple App Store), users can find and stay up to date with their favourite artists/venues and the latest gig/tour announcements. www.gigseekr.com
The festival has something for everyone, in addition to great music there is a food court and tea garden, including BBQ food, authentic dishes from Britannia Thai and wonderful vegan and vegetarian food from The Tinker’s Granddaughter plus amazing waffles from Waffaholic. There is also a fabulous selection of real ales, beers, and ciders, Pimms and Prosecco, a wide variety of products available from the vendor stalls and lots of games, activities and large inflatables to entertain the kids.
The festival is aiming to be as environmentally friendly as possible and reducing the amount of single-use plastic. We have fantastic new reusable polycarbonate cups that will be available at the festival. Entrance to the festival is only £5 with free admission for accompanied children under 16 and you get a free cup to use for the day. We also have a water station to allow for free refills in order to keep everyone fully hydrated. We have recently agreed a new partnership with St. Austells Brewery who will be our main drinks supplier and the festival gives us the opportunity to feature a number of their great products. We have also recently refurbished our clubhouse which has created a much warmer and welcoming space and we are sure it will meet with your approval.
We would also like to encourage visitors to be sustainable and consider using public transport and arrive by train or bus, the mainline station is only a five-minute walk from the football club or alternatively come on your bike and use the on-site bike parking facility.
We are looking forward to good weather and good crowds, so hopefully the sun will continue to shine on this fantastic community event.
