Southampton Advanced Motorists (affiliated to IAM RoadSmart) believe electric powered vehicles
are our future and are offering you an opportunity to learn more. Please come and visit us on:

Sunday 31st July 2022 between 10am and 3pm

at

OTTERBOURNE VILLAGE HALL, CRANBOURNE DRIVE, SO21 2ET

• Local dealers will be on hand with demonstration models.
• There will be a display of electric and hybrid cars owned by our members who will be happy to
  answer your questions and discuss the pros and cons from their points of view.
• Tim Shallcross, IAM RoadSmart Head of Policy and Advice, will be giving presentations on the
  technology of electric powered cars and advice on how to get the best economy from them
  using advanced driving techniques.
• Should you already own an electric car our team of Observers will be on hand to give you a
  free Introductory Advanced Drive in your own vehicle. You will need to register for this at our
  promotion stand.
• We will be offering a 10% discount to anyone who wishes to sign up on the day for the IAM
  RoadSmart Advanced Driver Course.
• We are currently offering a “Younger Drivers’ Financial Initiative” cash-back scheme to the
  first ten people to sign up for the IAM Advanced Driver Course who are under the age of 24yrs
  and have already passed their driving test. Details on request.
• Light refreshments will be available.
